Last night, (Saturday 28th) a very appreciative audience enjoyed a varied concert of popular music given by “Strata Brass”. Entitled “Don’t Stop Me”, it featured music of QUEEN, ABBA, THE CARPENTERS, ELTON JOHN, LIONEL RICHIE and many others.

This is the first time that The Playhouse has hosted a Brass Band concert and it will not be the last as, following last night’s successful debut, Strata Brass are looking to return to the theatre in November. Watch this space for more details!

Just a reminder that the next meeting of the Thespians will be a play reading on TUESDAY 7th JUNE – 7-9pm.
