At long last, work has finally begun on replacing our theatre roof. However, in keeping with the building’s purpose, not without some drama, as work was delayed for 2 days when a large and very lively wasps’ nest was found in the roof void. A Pest Control consultant was quickly contacted and the nest was removed yesterday. Luckily, the forecast of rain today has not materialised and the roofers have made good progress. Fingers, toes (and much else!) are being crossed that the work is not delayed further by rain. Who expects rain in August!!
