As many of the followers of our website will be aware, in 2019 we were informed that the theatre needed a new roof as the original slates were starting to disintegrate due to weathering over the past 150 years. We have been fundraising continuously since then. We are pleased to announce that funding has now been secured and work will begin on Tuesday August 1st and should take 3/4 weeks – weather permitting.
