We are well into the final stages of rehearsals for our Christmas production of this timeless classic. This delightful stage adaptation was first performed at York Theatre Royal in 2010 and is clearly aimed at reproducing the success of both writer Mike Kenny’s earlier adaptation of “The Railway Children”, (which later successfully transferred to London’s Waterloo Station) and the always popular pantomime.

The result is not just a “children’s show” but an evening for the whole family to enjoy. The play runs from Thursday December 9th until Saturday December 11th at 7.15. Tickets can be booked on line (click on the link in our “What’s On” section) or at the door on the night.
