In addition to our own in-house productions we are home to the RMC Theatre Company who present an annual pantomime, musical and a variety of concerts. In addition we host a variety of other events including those by visiting theatre companies.

The Playhouse stage acting area is 24 feet wide and 15 feet deep and has 2 sets of black traverse curtains in addition to the Red velvet house tabs. The auditorium seats 200 with 153 being in the stalls and 47 in the balcony. The theatre is fully equipped with up-to date sound and lighting systems, a digital projector and screen and hearing loop system. It is suitable drama groups, presentations, performances, concerts and gigs. It has a small Coffee/Tea Bar. Unfortunately, as the building is a converted chapel, it does not have wheelchair access and dressing room accommodation is limited.
