“AN EVENING IN LITTLE GRIMLEY”
Two One-act plays written by David Tristram
The evening follows the story of a small amateur dramatics company in the town of Little Grimley as they come out of Lockdown and plan their comeback production.
‘Lockdown in Little Grimley’ tells of the group’s first tentative steps out of lockdown and back on the stage. The hapless Director and writer of all the shows the group perform has an idea to bring the audience flocking back to the theatre with the promise of raising money for a good cause. However, will circumstances beyond their control (and some questionable banana bread) mean everything goes as planned?
‘Last Panto in Little Grimley’ follows the same group of ‘Am-Drammers’ attempting to put on a pantomime, of course written by the Director. The Panto is Dick Whittington, but not as you know it! Will the show be the success they all long for it to be? “Oh yes it will”…… they hope!
