JOHN MARSHALL
We regret to announce the death, on July 25th of John Marshall at the age of 74. John was a past treasurer of the society in the 1980’s and ’90’s as well as a talented acting member. Amongst the many and varied roles he played were those of “Canon Chasuble” in “The Importance of Being Earnest”, bookie Alfred Tubbe in “Dry Rot”, “Hamilton Penworthy in “A Tomb with a View”, “Gordon” in “They Came from Mars……”, “Captain Percy” in “Reluctant Heroes”, General MacKenzie” in “And Then There Were None”, “Herbert Soppitt” in “When We Are Married”, “Colonel Julyan” in “Rebecca” and the “Rev. Arthur Humphrey” in “See How They Run.”
