Wombwell Thespians are pleased to announce that weekly rehearsals will resume on Tuesday September 1st!

As reported in an earlier post, to begin with up to Christmas we intend to have weekly readings of plays, some of which we will read with an eye to future performance and some which, as they have large casts, just for enjoyment. The main aim is to get together as a social unit. In the first instance we will meet in the theatre, rather than the confines of the dressing room. It is envisaged that stage rehearsals for our May production of “Ladies Day”, will begin in January. Rehearsals are at the usual time of 7.30 – 9.30 and are open to all acting or non acting members. In line with government recommendations, we have a “covid” policy in place. New members are always welcome!
