“2:22 – A Ghost Story”
A great pity that the weather affected our audience numbers last Saturday for final play of our Centenary Year. Those who braved the elements, as well as the goodly number who saw the first two performances, really enjoyed it and were surprised by the twist at the end! Some audience comments:
“Absolutely brilliant..we all loved it. Great acting from everyone. Fantastic play..one of my favourites. Go and see it for their last night…you wont be disappointed.“
“Brilliant production. Well done everyone.”
“I really did not see the twist coming!”
Besides the paranormal special effects planned in the play there were several strange happenings during show week & in rehearsals!
* One of the backstage emergency lights, which are always on, was found switched off.
* The radiator in the Tea Bar kitchen which was switched off.
* A door closing when wedged open.
* A Figure seen by one of the cast at the back of the stalls during a rehearsal.
* On opening night a gust of wind on stage was felt by cast & stage crew during the “seance” scene.
* The sound system suddenly inoperative at the beginning of Act 1 on Friday.
Co-incidence? – You be the judge – we know what we believe!
